ISIS, a goddess from the ancient Egyptian beliefs, is the muse for Swedish clothing label Minimarket's SS/12 collection.
Isis was worshipped as the matron of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans and also known as protectress of the dead and goddess of the children. Olaf Hajek's allover pattern is built of Egyptian flowers and applied on dresses, jackets, shorts and shoes. To see the whole collection click HERE!

Bo Lundberg - Bryant Park

Bryant Park, at Sixth Avenue on Manhattan, was founded in 1847. By the 1970's, Bryant Park had been taken over by drug dealers, prostitutes and the homeless and was given the nickname "Needle Park". It was considered a "no-go zone" by ordinary citizens and visitors.
In 1988 the park was closed to undergo a four-year restoration. The park re-opened in 1992 to widespread acclaim. It was written about as "The Best Example of Urban Renewal" by NY Times architectural critics. Bryant Park has been a given destination for New Yorkers and tourists ever since.
Bo Lundberg was commissioned to illustrate the advertising campaign for Bryant Park's new ice skating rink "Citi Pond", sponsored by Citibank.

Sac Magique - Oma Pelto

Click on the play icon above and you will see the Finnish film Oma Pelto (Own Field) illustrated and co-directed by Sac Magique . Oma Pelto is an ecological project that started a year ago in Helsinki.
100 households formed a co-operative and rented a field. Then they hired a farmer who tends to the field and the crops. The harvest is divided amongst the co-owners. The goal is to spread the idea nationwide and later on worldwide.
In doing the animation Sac Magigue was asked "Do you know where your food comes from?". He then illustrated the journey of a tomato backwards, to it's distant source. The Oma Pelto project is it's opposite - you know where your food comes from, how and by whom it has been grown.

Norwegian founded insurance company Gjensidige has safeguarded assets ever since the first fire insures were established back in the 1820's. Today Gjensidige emerges as a modern financial group that in addition to insurances offers online banking, loans and savings in many countries.
Petra Börner was commissioned to illustrate their new ad campaign for car insurances, based on classical insurance papers.

Klaus Haapaniemi – HEL YES!

HEL YES! Stockholm is an experimental social gathering that combines gastronomy, design and dance. A collaboration between restauranteur Antto Melasniemi, artist Klaus Haapaniemi, designer Mia Wallenius and choreographer Kenneth Kvarnström and the Helsinki Dance Company.
It took place at Eric Ericssson-hallen in the church on the island Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. A majestic place with great atmosphere, creating the perfect venue for this event.
