The current play at Marionetteatern, Stadsteatern's stage for puppet theatre, is 'Systern från Havet'. It's a story especially written for Marionetteatern by Ulf Stark. Stina Wirsén designed the puppets.

Stina Wisén - Barnvagnsmarschen

This year it’s the second time Unite for Women arrange Barnvagnsmarschen, a walk to help support the fight against maternal mortality i världen. This year the pattern for the pram cover and print material for the walk has been illustrated by Stina Wirsén.
The walk takes place in Stockholm and other Swedish cities on the 8th of March.

The council for negotiation and co-operation, PTK, is an organization of 26 unions representing 700.000 employees in the Swedish private sector. Stina Wirsén was commissioned to illustrate their new manual 'To work abroad' aimed at people interested to find out more about things like contracts, taxes, wages etc.

Heffaklumpen!

January 2008

Stina Wirsén and her mother Carin Wirsén have received the Heffaklumpen award for the book and CD "Super show with Rut and Knut". Heffaklumpen is a yearly award for best Swedish childrens book and has been handed out since 1966 by the evening newspaper Expressen. Earlier price winners are for example Tove Jansson, Astrid Lindgren, Lennart Hellsing and Ulf Stark.
